The kit consists of an indicator panel with 12m cable and an BCM electronic unit.
The BCM electronic unit transmits the signal from the CSM, coupling sensor to the indicating panel in the cab. A green light shows when the coupling is closed and secured, and a red light shows when the coupling is open. Both lights show to confirm the function when the ignition is switched on. The green light can be turned off by pushing the button so that the driver will not be disturbed when driving.
The VBG Indicating Kit is a complete digital network (CAN-BUS) that meets the requirements of UNECE R55.

The system handles all communication between the truck coupling and driver. It is an easy-to-install modular system which allows for future functional expansion.

The BCM electronic unit transmits the signal from the CSM, coupling sensor to the truck instrument cluster.
This indication kit can be used if the vehicle has an approved mounting solution in accordance with UNECE Regulation No.55
The VBG Indicating Kit consists of the following components:
CSM (Coupling Sensor Module) - digital sensor on the coupling that detects whether the coupling is locked or open.
CAN-BUS and power cable (12/16 metres) connecting CSM and BCM.
BCM (Body Control Module) -the “brain” in the CAN-BUS system and connects to the vehicle by a mechanic.
VBG Indicating Panel or OEM Cluster – two different options for displaying an open or closed coupling in the cab. Both options are connected to BCM. NOTE! Cluster indication for OEM Cluster can be used if the vehicle has an approved installation solution according to UNECE R55. BCM is connected to the vehicle’s cluster (follow the bodybuilder instructions).

The valve box is used to operate air-assisted VBG couplings (open/close PA, open AM). The box is developed for maximum safety, and the reliable function has been tested under rough conditions.

The construction is made to exclude handling errors, and it can be easily manoeuvred even with gloves. The coupling is operated with a manual valve that has been developed especially for VBG's high demands on safety and function.

The box, which is made of a very strong and impact-resistant lightweight material, can be mounted in different directions and is easily connected with push-in nipples. The lid is fitted with strong, reinforced hinges, and when mounted horizontally, the lid is self-closing (should the driver forget to close).

Valve Box Kit G2 contains a valve box, mounting bracket, 2 air hoses (Ø6 mm and Ø8 mm) and protective housing. The valve box is equipped with push-in nipples.
